Their Story
Spontaneity characterized the start of a lifelong partnership for Meghan Milanchus and Tim Wilson when he surprised her with an impromptu proposal over dinner. The couple had been dating for a little more than a year when they began discussing their “five-year plans” at a restaurant one evening. “I didn’t want to lie,” Meghan says, “so I shared with him that in five years I hoped to be married and have children. He got really quiet, and my stomach dropped. I thought I had scared him off and that he would break up with me.”

It turns out Tim’s plans were quite the contrary. At the moment Meghan feared she would lose her boyfriend, he suddenly became her fiancé. After Meghan’s admission, Tim dropped to his knee and proposed in the middle of the restaurant.
