Their Story
In 2002, Bryan Tanis and Leslie Ribakow met in Washington, D.C. When Bryan learned Leslie’s last name, he soon realized he had attended junior high school with her brother, Jason. Leslie quickly reunited Bryan and Jason, and the three became great friends. Three years later, Bryan and Leslie’s friendship blossomed into a relationship that would lead to a romantic engagement in Rome, Italy. Bryan dropped to one knee in front of the Fontana di Trevi, and after accepting his proposal, Leslie joined her friends as they popped champagne to celebrate throughout the streets of the city.
