Wedding Show Pro Tips

Bridal shows are simultaneously exciting and overwhelming, but with a little preparation and a good team, you could very easily make almost all of your wedding-day decisions in one day (or get some great ideas)

• Register Early
Advanced tickets often cost less than day-of-show tickets. By registering in advance, you secure your admittance and may be eligible for special give-a-ways.

• Bring a Guest or Two
Invite your fiance, your mom, your maid of honor or other bridal-party and family members who will be helping you plan your wedding. They can help you gather information, provide input and make decisions.

• Plan to Spend the Day – And See Everything
There are cakes and sweets to sample, fashion shows to watch, DJs to listen to and scores of contests and give-a-ways to enter. Experience all of it.

• Wear Comfortable Shoes and Bring Water
A day at the show can be rough on your feet and your legs, so wear comfortable shoes so you can skip out of the show just as blithely as you skipped in. And stay hydrated!

• Bring Address Labels Bearing Your Address
Instead of writing out your contact information at every table and for every contest, you can affix your address label. Be sure to include your phone number and email address.

• Bring Cash or a Checkbook
In the event you fall in love with a vendor and simply must have them for your wedding, having cash or a checkbook enables you to book them the day of the show.

• Take Notes and Get Business Cards
Did you like certain DJ? Think you found your baker? Bring a small notebook with you and write it down so you can go over it later. Likewise, get business cards and information from the vendors you like.
