I Do for Brides traveled to the romantic Hotel del Coranado, along with Adrienne “AJ” Janic, star of TLC’s “Overhaulin’,” to showcase beautiful gowns from designer Isabella Margianu. We started out on the beach, with AJ pairing the Christina bustier and Sarli coat with jeans. The bustier is made of Alencon lace, while the coat is made of double layers of silk organza with bell sleeves, square lapels and a sweep train. A white jade necklace with gemstone clasp by Elyssa Design and a ring by Alisa Unger Designs set off the ensemble nicely. |
|

AJ shows off her sassy side with this two-piece Christina ensemble. The bustier top is made of Alencon lace, while the skirt is four-ply silk charmouse with roll-over-self fabric that is finished with a crystal buckle. It’s fitted at the hips with a soft mermaid look. Necklace and earrings by Dana Designs.

Many layers of handkerchief-cut tulle make up the full skirt of the Laura dress. The ivory strapless dress also features a fitted bodice and drop waist with a corset detail on the sides. Gold, amethyst and citrine necklace and earrings by Elyssa Bass Designs; Ring by Alisa Unger Designs. |
|

Pretty as a princess, the Lola gown is constructed in beaded English netting and soft tulle. It features a sweetheart neckline with thin straps, pleated tulle detailing and an empire waist. The gown is softly fitted through the bodice with an A-line skirt finished at the hem in ruffled tulle. The one-of-a-kind Victorian pendant is available in 14k gold with.75 karats of diamonds that were hand-selected by designer Alisa Unger herself, making it the perfect accessory for your special day. |

The bridesmaids take a break for a quick game of croquet in dresses by Heidi Elnora that are fresh as a summer breeze. (left to right) The 1950’s inspired pink Italian silk ball gown features gold ribbon trim and a Swarovski belt buckle, while original 1940’s vintage floral fabric is used as an overlay on tulle and crinoline, with a bodice of purple Italian silk. Jewelry by Emily Ray. Shoes by Dyeables.

It’s her daughter’s big day, but this mother of the bride is still stunning in Marisa Baratelli’s pink pin tuck gown with matching jacket. Jewelry by Emily Ray and purse by Laura Lee Designs add some sparkle.

Outdoor weddings are more casual, and you can reflect that in your attire. Dresses can be more flowy and natural looking, and flat shoes are a must (or you could even go barefoot). Avoid a stiff up-do, and opt for natural flowing hair. You can even tuck a few flowers in your hair, in lieu of a veil.
